This set of dashboards displays information on complaints and notifications filed against Chicago Police Department (CPD) sworn members and interactive maps that show where these complaints and notifications occurred.
Data Sources: CPD databases and Chicago Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (CHIPPS). Records begin January 1, 2007, and the data is typically refreshed daily between 4:00PM and 11:59PM CST. Data is current through the date of last update (listed in the top right corner of the dashboards).
CPD developed a new Case Management System to record complaints and notifications. At this time, complaints and notifications initiated on or after February 11, 2019, are not included in these dashboards but complaints and notifications prior to February 11, 2019, are updated.
