This set of dashboards displays Office of Emergency Management and Communication (OEMC) events for Chicago Fire Department (CFD) response and an interactive map that shows where events occurred by location of service.
The information in these dashboards only includes emergency events as designated by an OEMC dispatcher/call-taker as Priority 1 and some Priority 2 events. Priority 1 events related to administrative duties, advisories, out-of-service equipment, or EMS plan events were excluded. Only Priority 2 events related to well-being checks and elevator release were included.
Note that response times are not included within the dashboards due to data quality issues.
Data Sources: OEMC Management Information System (MIS). Records begin January 1, 2018, and the data is typically refreshed daily between 4:00 PM and 11:59 PM CST. Data represents the information that is in the OEMC database as of the date of last update (listed at the top of the dashboards).
